HI, I'M IRENE!

I'm so glad you're here! I'm a self taught Latina cake artist based on Long Island, NY creating custom vegan wedding cakes, desserts and grazing tables for celebrations across Long Island, the Hamptons, North Fork and NYC. From creating intimate elopement cakes in the Hamptons to creating cakes for elegant celebrations at venues like Oheka Castle, Crest Hollow Country Club and Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard and more, my goal is to create something as beautiful as it is delicious, and always completely vegan.

Cake decorating has been my passion for years and nothing excites me more than bringing someone's vision to life through food and artistry. Food is my artistic medium and every order, from a simple cutting cake to an elaborate four tier wedding cake, gets the same care, attention and love.

Every custom vegan wedding cake, dessert and grazing table that leaves my Long Island commercial kitchen is made entirely from scratch. All of my desserts are completely dairy free and egg free by nature. Gluten free and nut free options are also available, because every guest deserves something beautiful on the dessert table regardless of dietary needs.

For me it's about more than just making a cake, it's about creating something that feels beautiful, tastes extraordinary and becomes part of a memory that lasts forever.

I got a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and I was so impressed I decided to order my wedding cake! For my wedding I got an almond cake with vanilla custard and vanilla buttercream. I always get nervous when ordering vegan cakes because they can be a bit dense, but each cake I have ordered from here has been outstanding.

My experience was absolutely wonderful! I ordered a vegan wedding cake to go along with a non vegan one, and I had multiple people tell me that they preferred the vegan cake. It was super moist and flavorful, and it looked adorable. I especially loved the recreation of myself, my husband, and our cat at the top of the cake. You can tell that there is a tremendous amount of effort put into these creations. I definitely would recommend for those looking for a baker for their wedding, whether vegan or not!

Irene made an incredible illusion cake for my Son's 21st birthday! It was stunning and everyone wanted to take a picture with it, lol. In addition to being a work of art, the chocolate cake and cookies and cream icing were DELICIOUS! My husband isn't a cake person but he had 2 pieces. Yummy! I want to give a rave review for Irene of Veg On Board! I ordered from her for the first time for a special person’s special occasion - who happens to be a vegan. The pictures do not do this cake justice. This was probably the most beautiful looking cake I have ever seen!! Truly a. Piece of artwork! And delicious!!!! I ordered the yellow cake with strawberry filling and chocolate buttercream. Non-vegans and vegans couldn’t believe how good it was. I will definitely be ordering from her again!
