Wedding Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book our wedding cake?

Wedding cakes should be booked as early as possible, especially during peak season. I recommend reaching out 3–6 months in advance for summer and fall dates to ensure availability. That said, if your wedding is coming up sooner, don't hesitate to reach out. I occasionally have availability for shorter timelines and would love to help if I can. Your date is not reserved until a deposit is received.

Do you offer wedding cake tastings?

Yes! Wedding cake tasting boxes are available for couples considering booking a wedding cake. Tasting boxes are $65 and can be credited toward wedding cake orders of $400 or more.

Are your wedding cakes fully vegan?

Yes, absolutely! - every cake and dessert is 100% vegan, made without dairy, eggs, or any animal -derived ingredients.

Gluten Free and Nut Free options are available by request. While I take great care in the creation and preparation of these items, please note that my commercial kitchen is not a certified Gluten and Nut Free facility.

Do you deliver and set up wedding cakes?

Yes. Delivery and professional set up are required for wedding cakes to ensure everything arrives safely and looks its best.

What is your pricing?

Each wedding cake is custom quoted based on guest count, design complexity, and flavor selections.

Because every cake is designed specifically for each event, pricing can vary depending on the styling of the cake.

As a general guide:

  • Cutting cakes for elopements and micro weddings start at $125

  • Most wedding cakes range from $550–$1,450 depending on size and design

  • Specialty designs such as intricate Lambeth piping or hand sculpted elements may be priced higher based on complexity.

I work with couples both planning intimate celebrations and larger weddings throughout Long Island, the Hamptons, Nassau County and Suffolk County. To receive an exact quote for your wedding cake, please fill out the wedding cake inquiry form.

Are you insured and approved by venues?

Yes, absolutely! I am fully insured, NYS licensed, Food Manager certified, and operate from a NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets inspected commercial kitchen. Insurance documentation can be provided directly to your venue upon request.

Can you coordinate with my venue or planner?

Yes! I’m happy to coordinate with your venue or planner regarding delivery timing and set up details to ensure a smooth experience.

What is your wedding cancellation policy?

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your wedding date and begin the design process. Because each wedding cake and dessert order is custom designed and your date is held exclusively for your event, the retainer is non-refundable.

If an event is canceled within a reasonable timeframe prior to production beginning, any payments made beyond the retainer may be refundable. Once production has begun, all payments become non-refundable.

How do I get started?
